Property taxes (Real and Personal) and other special assessments are due and payable by February 1 of each year. Thereafter, a penalty of ½ % per month accrues on any unpaid taxes until the tax sale in August of that same year. As a courtesy of this office, notices are mailed to land and business owners in Tate County.
