Our mission is to save lives, prevent injury, protect property, and educate the citizens of Tate County. This is accomplished through establishing community-wide readiness through public education, planning, risk assessment, and interagency communications.
Tate County Fire Services is made up of seven volunteer fire departments that provide fire, auto extrication, and EMR (Emergency Medical Responder) services to all of Tate County. Tate County currently has a total of 132 volunteers who responded to 1,121 calls in 2019 and 934 calls across the county in 2020.
